Great knit dress, fitted bodice and flowing skirt, 3/4 length sleeves with puffed shoulder and tight cuffs. Amazing keyhole detail at bust, buttoned together with pretty self covered button. I got this from the outlet shop on Brunswick St, and that's why there is no label :) Apparently all the samples are a size AU10 but this is stretchy and snug so can fit an 8 or even a 6 well. I have worn only once or twice.

Dark red dress (by Australian label Hazel)

Pretty dark red dress. Slight empire shape, waist sits a little above the natural waist line. Very pretty fluttery sleeves. Small red buttons up the front from the waist. Flowy skirt that sits abit above the knee on me. Very soft and comfortable, and flattering. Made from very soft polyester that looks and feels very matte. The dress was made in Australia. The colour is best represented in the detail pic, at least on my screen – it is a soft, darker, almost a wine red.

PAM Perks and Mini plaid shirt/blouse

PAM check/plaid blouse (or shirt, if you like:) ) in a soft, muted blue, with darker blue and dark red making up the pattern. Nice peter pan collar on typically masculine style. The sleeves tie up to make slightly puffed short sleeves; I have no idea how to explain this so please see the picture! :D Made from 100% medium-thicker weight cotton, very very soft (brushed, perhaps?) and comfortable. Ever so slightly fitted for more feminine shape, but far from tight (as you can see).

Lonely Hearts Club black dress with twist straps

Really cool dress by Australian label Lonely Hearts Club. Lantern shape skirt, with layer of fabric to make the lantern shape and pockets (really hard to describe, please see the pics) and two straps that you twist to change the length, that are worn over the shoulders. 100% silk. Good in summer and winter, as is made for layering. Quite sad to see this go, actually! :)

Fine red and white stripes 1980s sun dress with sailor style collar. So hard to photo the colours and stripes in the full length shot, so I put the detail pic first :) Made from cotton. Zips up the back and falls below the knee. I got this from ebay and was going to shorten it, but it is a little too big for me, and anyway it looks good the length it is too. The skirt is lined, and it has pockets! Elastic waist.

Gorgeous 1970s dress in a pale aqua blue, with thin pale pink stripes. The fabric is light, and quite sheer, so it needs a slip with it. The puff sleeves end just below the elbow, and are secured with pearl buttons. It has its original tie belt in the same fabric. Finishes below the knee.

black dress with white collar

A classic style black dress with white/ivory collar and cuffs. I got this from etsy (vintage section) a while ago, and sadly it doesn't fit me – I was a bit too optimistic with the size listed because I wanted a dress like this so much.



The dress is made from a polyester that drapes really nicely. Zips up the back, and has two little hooks to do up the collar. The collar has a stitched detailing, as you can see in the second pic. Long sleeves, dress falls to above the knee. Fully lined. Has a soft A line, almost tent shape, meant to fit loosely.
