1940's stripe dress

strsec b

Great little 1940s stripe dress in navy and ivory, with long full sleeves caught in tight cuffs, a fitted waist panel and gently puff sleeves at the shoulder. Buttons down the front, and zips at the side. Two faux pockets at the bust. Falls to a bit below the knee. Great dress!

Measurements

Please note that this is a tiny dress, and has no stretch!

Bust 36
Waist 23.5
Hips 38

Shoulder to Shoulder 14.5
Shoulder to Waist 16 (but is blouson style above that waist panel, so is meant to be a little loose; best for a slightly shorter torso)
Length 40

Condition
Good wearable condition, especially for its age. There are some tiny holes throughout – one on the waistband (but it is only on one layer so no skin/slip shows through), one on the shoulder (as pictured). There are a few places of a bit of discolouration where the blue colour has bled slightly into the ivory stripes, leaving a slight pinkish tinge – this really is not very noticeable. There is a little mark on the back of the collar (as shown) and most of the discolouration is on the shoulders (also as shown). All of these are pretty minor, and it is still a great dress with lots of life left in it, for the right tiny person! I have adjusted the price accordingly – and my prices are already super cheap as I need the space! :) The hem shows strands of fabric that could do with trimming, but the hem is sewn and in tact.

Price $35

Hi Francesca,
Nope, it is still available – and I can ship it to you in the US! I think it will be a lot less than $35, which is what it cost to send a dress to Chicago the other day – but that was a bigger dress that had to go in a box... I will email you :)
